Deputy Store Manager - Fashion - Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle

ROLE SUMMARY

• Lead the team to deliver excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and staying aware of current trends and competitor activity.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with support teams, providing regular feedback to Marketing, Buying, and Planning departments.
• Continuously coach and mentor team members to develop skills and recognize high potential, maintaining enthusiasm and commitment.
• Drive sales and proactively seek business improvements by monitoring KPI targets.
• Manage and execute all sales promotions and brand activities, coordinating with support teams to maximize sales.
• Monitor staff performance and identify opportunities to exceed sales targets.
• Analyze business reports to understand current performance trends.
• Maximize sales opportunities through effective communication with Buying and Planning teams.
• Ensure smooth store operations in the absence of the store manager, addressing disruptions promptly.
• Implement and maintain compliance with company policies to minimize stock loss and damage.
• Coordinate with the Excellence and Compliance team for stock takes as per company policy.
• Maintain VM standards according to brand and company guidelines.
• Keep store standards high, including cleanliness, tidiness, and replenishment.
• Adhere to all health, safety, security, and compliance policies, reporting concerns timely.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Qualification in a retail-related field is advantageous
• At least 5 years of experience in retail operations
• Experience in the fashion industry is required
