Job description

JASARA PMC is looking for a Deputy Program Director - Program Controls to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing program controls activities, including scheduling, cost management, and performance monitoring. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget, in alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of program controls processes, frameworks, and tools to ensure efficient project execution.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost control.
• Identify and analyze variations from the established program baseline, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide insights and data for informed decision-making.
• Facilitate program performance reviews and prepare regular status reports for senior management.
• Mentor and guide staff in program controls best practices to enhance team capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in program controls, project management, or a relevant role within the construction industry.
• Strong expertise in project scheduling and cost management practices, including familiarity with software tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Proven experience in risk management and performance measurement methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in managing programs within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
