If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

The Deputy Manager – Logistics Engineering Systems supports the Logistics team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of logistics-related IT systems that enable efficient and reliable supply chain operations. This role assists in the integration and optimization of platforms such as SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Sequencing & Kitting systems, Pick-to-Light, and lineside replenishment systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational processes. The Deputy Manager works closely with cross-functional teams—including logistics, IT, operations, and external vendors—to drive system enhancements, resolve issues, and support automation and digitalization initiatives that improve data accuracy, process efficiency, and overall system performance across the logistics network.

You Will:
  • Define and implement logistics systems requirements across operations, supporting inbound logistics, material flow, warehousing, finished vehicles, packaging, and facility launches.
  • Act as the key liaison between Logistics and Systems teams to ensure seamless integration of operational and digital solutions.
  • Develop and manage KPIs, performance dashboards, and analytics to monitor logistics operations and drive accountability.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment of resources, tracking milestones, and delivering against cost, time, and performance goals.
  • Lead system launch plans for new projects, track progress, resolve issues, and enable data-driven decision-making through dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Translate operational logistics needs into scalable system solutions in partnership with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate current system capabilities and recommend improvements. Lead the analysis, design, development, and testing of system changes.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for enhancing service levels, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics-related master data and configurations. Monitor system integrations and overall system health in collaboration with IT.
  • Conduct what-if scenario analyses, resolve system discrepancies, and lead functional enhancements to support evolving logistics operations.
You Bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in logistics systems design, implementation, and/or management.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in automotive logistics operations or a supervisory/team lead role.
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP, JDA TMS, WMS, and EDI transactions (required).
  • Familiarity with APIs and network modeling tools (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and advanced data querying and reporting tools (required).
  • Strong team coordination and project management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Expertise in SAP logistics modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, EWM).
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Skills in systems integration, configuration, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
  • Ability to conduct process analysis and gather business requirements effectively.
  • Understanding of database management and SQL.
  • Experience in system testing, validation, and user training.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards related to logistics systems.
