Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Chef de Rang in providing excellent customer service during service periods.
  2. Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, glasses, and other necessary items before guests arrive.
  3. Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner and assist with seating if needed.
  4. Serve food and beverages professionally, in accordance with service standards.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and back-of-house areas.
  6. Ensure all mis-en-place is prepared and replenished before and during service.
  7. Communicate efficiently with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  8. Handle minor guest requests or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
  9. Adhere to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Skills

  1. Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment preferred.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Excellent personal presentation and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  5. Knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage.
  6. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
