Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Rang in providing excellent customer service during service periods.
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, glasses, and other necessary items before guests arrive.
- Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner and assist with seating if needed.
- Serve food and beverages professionally, in accordance with service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and back-of-house areas.
- Ensure all mis-en-place is prepared and replenished before and during service.
- Communicate efficiently with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle minor guest requests or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent personal presentation and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
