We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie Baker to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and pastries while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in managing daily bakery operations and production schedules
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the Chef de Partie
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and procedures
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting new bakery items and improvements to existing recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or diploma, preferably with a focus on baking and pastry arts
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a strong background in baking and pastry
  • Proficiency in various baking techniques and pastry preparation
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety practices and current Food Safety Certification
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
