Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie

Qualifications:

  • HACCP: Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification.
  • Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, with 3-4 years of experience in 4-5 star hotels.

Job Description:

  1. Maintain standards as per the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure efficient department operation in line with hotel policies.
  2. Provide high standards of food preparation and presentation to meet guest expectations.
  3. Assist in establishing the outlet's identity through appropriate food presentation standards.
  4. Follow standard recipes and preparation methods for all menu items.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
  6. Coordinate with colleagues on operational issues.
  7. Operate kitchen equipment correctly to ensure safety and efficiency.
  8. Participate in scheduled meetings and briefings.
  9. Adhere to safety, emergency, and fire prevention procedures.
  10. Implement food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and municipal regulations.
  11. Work closely with the Hygiene Officer on safety procedures.
  12. Participate in training programs to improve departmental standards.
  13. Respond to industry, company, or hotel changes in food and beverage operations.
  14. Report punctually in proper uniform with high personal hygiene standards.
  15. Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
  16. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
  17. Read and adhere to the hotel's Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  18. Comply with local legislation as required.
  19. Be flexible and willing to undertake additional duties or redeployments as needed.
  20. Attend training sessions and meetings as scheduled.
