Job Overview

To forecast and plan product demand to ensure accurate inventory levels and meet customer requirements within service level and cost-efficiency constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to generate accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and category teams to incorporate business insights into demand planning.
  • Engage with the sales team to collect and validate forecast inputs as per the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) cycle timelines.
  • Ensure timely update of forecast numbers in the system based on the IBP cycle calendar.
  • Develop and maintain demand plans using forecasting tools and ERP systems.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and analyze deviations, recommending corrective actions when needed.
  • Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing demand data and insights.
  • Maintain and update forecasting models to improve predictability and responsiveness.
  • Communicate demand forecasts and changes clearly to supply planning and procurement teams.
  • Participate in new product launches and promotional planning to ensure appropriate demand projections.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory status.
  • Assist in resolving demand-supply mismatches and stock-related issues through cross-functional collaboration.

Continuously improve forecasting processes and tools through feedback and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
