The Opportunity:

Capgemini is seeking a Telecom Delivery Executive to lead a long-term engagement in Saudi Arabia. The aspirants must have Hands-on Program delivery of complex Telco projects in a multi-vendor environment managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders (internal/external)

The expectations of the role are:

  • Ensures long-term value creation and mutually profitable growth by developing client intimacy and in-depth knowledge of the client application portfolio.
  • Secures delivery quality, identifies potential business opportunities and collaborates with Group Client Partners to support business development.

The Delivery Executive is expected to have the following technical expertise in the Telecommunications and Networking domain to manage the program:

  • Demonstrate expertise in wireless / 4G network architecture, protocols, features and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the delivery teams and the project management office (PMO) on wireless / 4G network design, configuration, testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and recommend wireless / 4G network solutions and enhancements to meet client requirements and expectations
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in wireless / 4G network technology and adhere to the best practices

Expected outcomes of the role:

Client perspective

  • Manage client relationships, Reviews business-critical engagements and manage risks via delivery capabilities allocation.
  • Address CXO level escalations on delivery
  • Bring capabilities from across the Group to enable transformational initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor

Capgemini perspective

  • Build a community of engagement managers to bring one view of global accounts
  • Facilitate cross SBU/BL contribution to a single account or large engagement, to ensure a cohesive delivery team – Institute governance to bring consistent experience of our delivery to our clients
  • Govern delivery by coordinating with delivery executives
  • Initiate and drive competitiveness plans and enhance contribution margin – Initiate and drive plans to enhance client satisfaction
  • Expand Capgemini’s client footprint by identifying and anticipating business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, extend sales support and win additional business
  • Collaborate closely with MU Delivery Head
  • Participate in the Account Business Review and executive steering committee
  • Identify and drive business opportunities

Main Delivery duties

  • Ensure delivery sign-off off proposals ahead of them being assigned to a delivery Engagement Manager
  • Participate in account strategic plan definition & implementation
  • Lead commercial management and take part to contract negotiation
  • Develop a strong relationship with the client key business and IT stakeholders
  • Govern delivery performance with engagement managers / delivery executives
  • Drive innovation and continuous service improvements
  • Shape new deals with the account manager

The candidate should have a positive, agile and can-do mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition).

The role demands a high level of autonomy; a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity; and a high level of drive to build a business from its current strong foundations to a potential billion-scale business.

Our Ideal Candidate:

He/She/They will have 10-20 years of experience in delivery or project management experience with strong experience in end-to-end delivery/program management of complex and large programs. A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is strongly preferred.

This person is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. They use their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience working for/with a service company
  • Strong experience with client-facing and ability to manage expectations
  • High adaptability and organization skills to navigate complex organizations, clients and projects (multiple stakeholders, multicultural environment, on-shore / off-shore delivery)
  • Leadership experience in continuous improvement initiatives and operations
  • Thorough Knowledge of contract management & financial management
  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams (India, Asia and/or Europe)
  • Experience in any of the following domains is a plus: Digital Manufacturing, Embedded Software for Medical Devices, Automotive products or Connectivity & Networks
  • Business level of English & Arabic (MUST)
