Job description

The Delivery Coordinator plays a critical role as gatekeeper and final reviewer of every delivery to ensure our drivers have the necessary information to make a safe delivery and that the needs of our customer have been met. Although some time will be spent physically helping with deliveries, time will also be spent within the system tracking and looking up item availability for deliveries. To be successful, the associate must maintain strong customer, colleague, and vendor relationships, and have a strong knowledge of safety protocols and proper delivery procedures. Self-motivated without supervision, with great attention to detail, and willing to go above and beyond what is asked.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support in pick-up and delivery of products according to customer orders.
  2. Plan and coordinate product delivery activities to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers.
  3. Contact customers to confirm delivery date and address and solve problems.
  4. Respond to delivery related inquiries and concerns from customers.
  5. Schedule deliveries and prepare delivery documentation.
  6. Track the status of product deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
  7. Provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Ensure the delivery vehicle is detailed, fueled, equipped, and ready for customer delivery.
  9. Arrange vehicle maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team.
  10. Work closely with department managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Observe all safety rules and regulations at state, local, and company levels.
  12. Monitor performance standards and targets to maintain high service levels.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience in supply chain-related fields (Transport, logistics, international freight, supply chain, operations).
  2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills in both Arabic and English.
  3. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  4. Solution-oriented mindset with attention to quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  5. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Punctual and able to meet tight deadlines.
