Job Description

Job Description: The Delivery Coordinator plays a critical role as the gatekeeper and final reviewer of every delivery to ensure drivers have the necessary information to make safe deliveries and meet customer needs. The role involves physical assistance with deliveries and system tracking of item availability. Success requires maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors, along with a good knowledge of safety protocols and delivery procedures. The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to go beyond expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support pick-up and delivery of products according to customer orders
  • Plan and coordinate delivery activities for accuracy and timeliness
  • Contact customers to confirm delivery details and resolve issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Schedule deliveries and prepare documentation
  • Track delivery status and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding service
  • Maintain vehicle readiness, including cleanliness, fuel, and equipment
