About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and drive data-informed decisions for our fast-growing live streaming and video platform. You will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and experimentation to optimize user engagement, content discovery, monetization, and creator growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user behavior to uncover insights on engagement, retention, and monetization trends.
- Develop ML models for recommendation systems, content ranking, fraud detection, and personalization.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product changes, algorithm updates, and new features.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and growth teams to define KPIs and measure success.
- Build predictive models to forecast user growth, churn, and revenue opportunities.
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Research and implement cutting-edge techniques in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in social media, short video, or live streaming.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Hive)
- Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation (A/B testing), and ML algorithms.
- Familiarity with recommender systems, user segmentation, and behavioral analytics.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, or similar).
