Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Data Scientist to join our partner based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for an initial 12-month contract. In this role, you will build predictive models, find useful insights from data, and help our clients in the financial services industry make smarter decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical

• Develop, test, implement, and maintain advanced predictive models (e.g., segmentation, customer lifetime value).
• Perform complex statistical analysis and apply machine learning techniques to solve real-world business challenges.
• Innovatively identify opportunities to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
• Ensure documentation of all steps throughout the development process.

Non-Technical

• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders (non-technical audience).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and refine business requirements.
• Present analysis results in a structured and compelling manner.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a similar Data Scientist role, preferably within Financial Services, Banking, or Card Payments.
• Highly proficient in SAS programming (SAS 9.4).
• Proficient in Python and R programming languages.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning.
