Job Title:

Data Scientist / Digital Solutions Analyst / Digital Solutions Specialist

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute digital and AI projects for Gas Plants — from solution scouting and PoC to deployment, evaluation, and value tracking.
• Identify advanced analytics use cases and solve complex technical problems to optimize operations, increase revenue, improve safety, or reduce environmental impact.
• Analyze business problems to determine appropriate learning tasks (classification, clustering, regression, forecasting, etc.).
• Select suitable machine learning algorithms based on task type and data structure (e.g., Decision Trees, SVM, kNN, Neural Networks, Deep Learning).
• Build and deploy predictive models using algorithms like linear/logistic/dynamic regression to address business needs.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Advanced degree with focus on Machine Learning, AI, Applied Statistics, or Operations Research is desirable.
• Work Experience:
• Solid background in statistics, machine learning, time series analysis, deep learning, NLP, and foundation models.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with APIs and ML frameworks.
• Experience in algorithm selection, predictive modeling, solution deployment and maintenance.
• Familiarity with upstream/downstream analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of plant automation systems, OPC interfaces, and process historians (e.g., PI).
• Proven experience in identifying analytics use cases and delivering solutions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Awareness of digital transformation and experience in digitalization initiatives is a plus.
