Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Data Privacy Consultant to provide expert guidance on data protection regulations and practices. The candidate must be a Saudi national with a strong background in data privacy frameworks, compliance, and risk management in the Public or private sector.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and privacy impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with client teams to ensure data handling practices meet legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide training and awareness on privacy best practices.
  • Support audits and liaise with regulatory authorities when needed.
  • Advise on and implement compliance strategies for regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or other relevant laws.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Develop and maintain privacy policies, data retention schedules, and consent mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with legal, security, marketing, HR, and IT teams to ensure data handling aligns with privacy requirements.
  • Assist in managing data subject requests (DSRs), including access, correction, and deletion requests.
  • Support incident response efforts, including data breach investigations and reporting.
  • Monitor updates in privacy laws and regulations to keep internal policies current.
  • Develop and review data privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
