Responsibilities:
- Data Model Development: Develop and maintain complex data models for business data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data models that align with business needs.
- Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend data modeling tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data modeling processes.
- Data Dictionaries: Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories to ensure consistency and integrity of data models.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve data model performance issues to optimize database performance and enhance overall system functionality.
- Documentation: Document and communicate data model designs and standards to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts. Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner.
- Database Design: Experience in designing and implementing database structures. Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices for data modeling and database design.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Performance Tuning: Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Previous experience with NDMO and NDI regulations in Saudi Arabia.
