Overview

SWATX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Management Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and hands-on support in all areas of data management, including data governance, data quality, and data integration. Working closely with clients, you will assess their data needs, develop data management strategies, and implement solutions that drive efficient and effective data operations.

Responsibilities

• Profound knowledge of data management frameworks, methodologies, and the standards and policies of the National Data Management Office (NDMO), along with their practical implementation


• Provide guidance and consultation on implementing data management frameworks, methodologies, and policies in alignment with NDMO standards and requirements


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess current data management practices and identify areas for improvement


• Develop and implement tailored data strategies and solutions to address data governance, and data privacy challenges


• Strong understanding of privacy principles, policies, and laws governing personal data protection (PDPL)


• Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to support compliance with NDMO requirements and enhance data management capabilities


• Work closely with IT teams to evaluate and select data management tools and technologies


• Expertise in data classification and overseeing the end-to-end implementation of data classification processes


• Ability to conduct compliance assessments and generate comprehensive reports


• Extensive experience in conducting and organizing workshops and presentations

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar degree


• 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, and data privacy


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Arabic


• Preferred certificates: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
