The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant for a contractual opportunity with a duration of 12 months, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting chance for professionals with a passion for data governance to contribute to our organization's success. You will play a pivotal role in implementing governance policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
• Conduct maturity assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current data governance practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
• Stay informed about NDMO standards and compliance requirements to enhance governance initiatives.
• Provide support and training to staff on data governance principles and practices.
• Monitor and report on compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data governance, including experience in the implementation of governance policies and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with data governance policies, compliance, and maturity assessments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies.
