Job description

Data Center Security Manager (DSM) Job Description

As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day data center security operations, supporting and executing security projects and programs, and ensuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct and manage contract guard force to ensure smooth daily data center operations.
  2. Handle security incidents, escalations, and other security-related issues at the site.
  3. Provide after-hours on-call support and participate in response to large-scale security events when necessary.
  4. Participate in recurring security audits and reviews of the data center.
  5. Implement established compliance processes aligned with AWS policies, standards, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  6. Contribute to the development of security methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  7. Prepare reports and communicate security status to management.
  8. Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
  9. Manage the security P&L for assigned sites, assist in financial analysis, and contribute to security-related financial decisions.
  10. Collaborate with other teams to protect personnel, information, and assets of the AWS Data Center.
