Purpose of the Job

Provide technical and business support by providing technical analysis of relevant data sources and doing analysis of suspicious transactions to protect the company and its resources as well.

Key Accountabilities: Description

1. Development of new analytical dashboards.
2. Sustaining and maintaining dashboards.
3. Monitor and transaction analysis.
4. Deviation and exceptional reporting.

Key Accountabilities: Performance Indicators

1. Number of dashboards developed vs. assigned as per PRIDA.
2. Bi-monthly & monthly update of APIs and Dashboard links.
3. # of analysis performed, # of suspicious transactions reported.
4. # of transaction reports submitted, tracked and followed up.

Major Activities

1. Identify relevant data sources and gather data from various internal and external databases, systems, and APIs.
2. Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
3. Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to explore and analyze complex datasets.
4. Identify trends, patterns, and relationships in the data to uncover actionable insights.
5. Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
6. Perform ad-hoc analysis and respond to data-related inquiries from different departments.
7. Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and systems to support data-driven decision making.
8. Maintain data documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries for easy accessibility and understanding.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation.

Framework, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority

• The jobholder works within the defined compliance division’s Standard Operating Procedure in place.
• The jobholder has the freedom to give recommendations as per the result of each technical analysis, provided his superior supports the said recommendation.
• The jobholder has the freedom of access to documents, evidence, and interaction with people of interest in order to come up with the technical analysis findings.

Organizational / Functional Strategic Focus

The job has a crucial role in protecting the company from any Fraud transactions by doing technical analysis for all operations transactions in different BUs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management.

Minimum Experience

4 - 6 years of experience in data analytics.

Job-Specific Skills

Time Management, managing deliverables, capable of working under tight deadlines, excellent communication skills.

Languages

English Proficiency, Arabic is a Must.

Special Certifications / Membership

PowerBI/Data modelling related certifications, SQL Certifications, experience in working with databases, SQL queries, APIs, interface.
