We are seeking a Data Scientist to work closely with NYBL to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision-making. The role involves building algorithms, designing experiments, and using machine learning tools and statistical techniques to develop solutions. You will test data mining models, maintain clear communication, create compelling reports, and stay updated with the latest technologies. Conducting research, developing prototypes, and demonstrating enthusiasm for algorithmic problem-solving are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience

• Experience in statistical and data mining techniques using Python, R, SQL
• Knowledge of advanced Machine Learning techniques (Neural networks, supervised/unsupervised ML, computer vision, text analysis)
• Experience with big data analysis, management, and distributed computing tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java
• Experience analyzing data from third-party providers (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
• Ability to visualize and present data using tools like Periscope, Business Objects, D3, ggplot
• Experience in creating data architectures
• Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and their advantages/drawbacks
• Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and their applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Drive to learn new technologies and techniques
• Ability to work independently on research and solutions
• KSA nationals preferred for KSA-based roles; remote applicants encouraged
