Job description

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a proven trackability of at least 10 years in data analysis, reporting, and insights generation. The ideal candidate will possess deep proficiency in the ACONEX platform and its application in large-scale project environments. You will be instrumental in extracting, transforming, and analyzing complex project data from ACONEX and other sources to drive informed decision-making, optimize project performance, and ensure data integrity across our operations in Hail.

Key Responsibilities:

• ACONEX Data Mastery: Serve as the subject matter expert for data within ACONEX, understanding its structure, functionalities (document management, workflow automation, communication, audit trails, cost management, etc.), and reporting capabilities.
• Data Extraction & Transformation: Develop and implement efficient processes for extracting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets from ACONEX and other relevant project management systems.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights related to project progress, cost, schedule, quality, and communication.
• Dashboard & Visualization Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format for various stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements within project execution, leveraging ACONEX data to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of project data, establishing and enforcing data governance best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, engineers, finance, and other departments to understand their data requirements and provide tailored analytical support.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to team members on effective utilization of ACONEX data and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Master s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or project management sector.
• Mandatory: Demonstrable and extensive hands-on experience with ACONEX (Oracle Aconex) is essential. Candidates without significant ACONEX experience will not be considered.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to 1 translate complex data into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 2
