Purpose:

To Support Goods-Flow through Basic Action implementation and coworkers training to strengthen efficiencies and position IKEA to maintain lowest possible Logistics cost.

Accountabilities

  • Monitor and maintain day to day Basic Actions within Logistics functions.
  • Maximize sales, ensuring a high level of product availability at low costs, by proactively leading and coordinating the logistics process in a partnership with other 3PL
  • Monitor and control the order process.
  • Daily check for stock-in/stock-out by matching pallet labels to system
  • Provide support to replenishment processes to meet or exceed standards
  • Adhere to inventory control processes.
  • Adhere to support safety policies and procedures
  • Transfer learning to coworkers on operational routines and basic actins
  • Assume responsibilities for other tasks and projects as they occur.
  • Conduct free space audit twice/week.
  • Follow up on Branch transfers, on time delivery “OTD”, Container deviation

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
