Title:

Dashboard Coordinator – Project Controls

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Dashboard Coordinator – Project Controls, to support our project reporting and analytics functions for a Giga Project, to be part of an overarching PMC Team. This role involves liaising with multiple stakeholders to gather, validate, and input data into Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. The coordinator will also be responsible for finalizing dashboards and communicating insights to high-level senior stakeholders, including PMO representatives from the client.

This position requires a strong background in Project Controls, with expertise in cost control, planning, and reporting, combined with advanced Power BI dashboard development and data visualization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Validation:

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including cost control, planning, procurement, and document management, to gather and validate data.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness before integrating into dashboards.

Dashboard Development & Maintenance:

  • Coordinate the development and manage Power BI dashboards for project reporting, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Implement automation and data visualization best practices to enhance reporting clarity and usability.
  • Maintain and update dashboards based on feedback and project needs.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

  • Work closely with PMO and senior client stakeholders to present finalized dashboards and key project insights.
  • Communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Address feedback and ensure reporting aligns with client expectations.

Project Controls Integration:

  • Support Project Controls functions by integrating dashboard analytics into cost forecasting, earned value analysis, schedule tracking, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cost and planning teams to ensure dashboards reflect accurate project performance metrics.

Process Improvement & Standardization:

  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dashboard reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in reporting workflows.
  • Ensure dashboards adhere to corporate and client reporting standards.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Controls (Planning, Cost Control, or Reporting).
  • Proven experience in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Controls principles, including cost control, planning, and earned value management (EVM).
  • Proficiency in data integration and analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power Query, or other relevant BI tools).
  • Familiarity with EPC project execution and reporting structures.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources for reporting purposes.
  • Understanding of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (preferred but not mandatory).

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills—ability to engage with senior leadership and client representatives.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy—ability to validate and clean data before dashboard finalization.
  • Problem-solving mindset—capable of troubleshooting data inconsistencies and improving reporting processes.
  • Proactive and independent—can manage multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in large-scale projects with multiple contractors is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Cost Engineering (CCP), or Business Intelligence is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, or Industrial EPC projects is preferred.
