The Cybersecurity Team

As a Tapster you will:
- Assist in the analysis of security alerts and investigate possible security incidents.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches, including triaging and escalating as needed.
- Support incident investigations and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and preventing recurrence.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage ongoing risk mitigation efforts.
- Document security incidents, mitigation efforts, and lessons learned.
- Generate periodic reports on security posture, incidents, and risk assessments for management.
- Collaborate with IT, network, and other departments to ensure alignment on security policies and practices.
- Contribute to internal security awareness programs by educating staff on security best practices.
- Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role
What you will bring to the party:
- 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or similarfunction.
- Hands-on experience with security operations tools andmonitoring systems.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and cloudplatforms such as OCI, AWS or Azure.
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a relatedfield.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIASecurity+ are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of network security concepts, operatingsystems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and incident response processes.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting logs andsecurity events.
- Strong communication skills in English, with a preferencefor Arabic language ability.
- Ability to establish credibility and build internalrelationships.
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic fintechenvironment.
- Problem-solving, quick-thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow daily tasks.
- Awareness of how your role supports the business’sstrategic goals.
- Skills to actively participate in cross-functional meetingsand initiatives.
- Ability to deliver work on time with attention to detail.
- Understanding client/merchant/stakeholder care and itsimportance in cybersecurity.
