Job description


As a Tapster you will:

  1. Assist in the analysis of security alerts and investigate possible security incidents.
  2. Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches, including triaging and escalating as needed.
  3. Support incident investigations and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and preventing recurrence.
  4. Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage ongoing risk mitigation efforts.
  5. Document security incidents, mitigation efforts, and lessons learned.
  6. Generate periodic reports on security posture, incidents, and risk assessments for management.
  7. Collaborate with IT, network, and other departments to ensure alignment on security policies and practices.
  8. Contribute to internal security awareness programs by educating staff on security best practices.
  9. Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role.


What you will bring to the party:

  1. 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or similar function.
  2. Hands-on experience with security operations tools and monitoring systems.
  3. Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
  4. Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
  6. Basic knowledge of network security concepts, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security.
  7. Experience with vulnerability management tools and incident response processes.
  8. Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting logs and security events.
  9. Strong communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability.
  10. Ability to establish credibility and build internal relationships.
  11. Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic fintech environment.
  12. Problem-solving, quick-thinking, and organizational skills.
  13. Ability to work in a team and follow daily tasks.
  14. Awareness of how your role supports the business's strategic goals.
  15. Skills to actively participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  16. Ability to deliver work on time with attention to detail.
  17. Understanding client/merchant/stakeholder care and its importance in cybersecurity.
  18. Saudi nationality is a mandatory requirement.
