About Tamara's Builders Program – Undergraduate Track

This program elevates exceptional Saudi graduates into future leaders. It is a comprehensive and hands-on experience designed to accelerate your growth.

You will work with an executive mentor to help tackle company-wide initiatives with key stakeholders and gain professional development while handling live business challenges and making a mark from day one. Your role

As a Cybersecurity Intern/Co-Op, you’ll support Tamara’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You’ll help monitor security practices, assess vulnerabilities, and contribute to security awareness initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity who wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment, working closely with experts in risk, IT, and compliance.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring cybersecurity policies, procedures, and practices across the company
  • Support the team in tracking and documenting security incidents and responses
  • Help perform basic vulnerability assessments or security checks under supervision
  • Contribute to third-party risk reviews by supporting vendor security assessments
  • Research emerging cyber threats, trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in preparing cybersecurity awareness content and internal training materials
  • Help maintain records of security audits, penetration tests, and risk assessments
  • Participate in internal discussions on improving our security posture and resilience

Your expertise

Experience:

  • Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Academic projects or internships related to cybersecurity, IT security, or GRC are a plus

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g., CIA triad, access control, encryption)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools or concepts such as firewalls, endpoint protection, or SIEM
  • Strong research and documentation skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and discretion
  • Good written and verbal communication (English required; Arabic is a plus)
