Job Description

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and oversee advanced cybersecurity solutions in alignment with national regulations and international best practices. The ideal candidate will have *10+ years of experience* in cybersecurity, with *strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) regulations, **Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)*, and relevant global frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). This role is critical to ensuring the security and resilience of our digital infrastructure.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* *Cybersecurity Architecture Design:*

Develop and maintain robust enterprise security architecture frameworks that align with business goals, regulatory mandates, and risk management strategies.

* *Regulatory Compliance:*

Ensure full compliance with *NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC), **Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC), **PDPL*, and other applicable local and international regulations.

Perform architecture-level risk assessments, threat modeling, and security gap analyses. Provide strategic guidance on mitigating risks and integrating security into enterprise architecture.

* *Security Solutions Integration: *

Select, evaluate, and integrate security technologies (e.g., SIEM, IAM, DLP, EDR/XDR, encryption) across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

* *Policy & Standards Development:*

Contribute to the creation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures that meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Act as a security advisor to IT and business units during system design and solution development. Collaborate with software, infrastructure, and network architects.

Provide architectural guidance and support during cybersecurity incidents and investigations to minimize business impact.

* *Security Awareness & Training:*

Promote security-by-design principles within development and engineering teams. Conduct technical sessions on secure design and compliance practices.

*Required Qualifications:*

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

* 10+ years of experience* in cybersecurity roles, including at least 3 years in a security architecture or enterprise architecture capacity.

* Proven knowledge of *NCA regulations* (ECC, CCC, VC, IOC), *PDPL, and **compliance* with *CITC/DICT* standards.

* In-depth understanding of network security, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and zero-trust architecture.

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, TOGAF).

* Strong knowledge of security tools, platforms, and threat intelligence technologies.

*Preferred Certifications:*

* *SABSA, **TOGAF, **GIAC/GSEC, **CISSP, **CISM, or **CCSP*.

* NCA-approved cybersecurity certifications (preferred).

* Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

* Strategic thinking and architectural design skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

* Deep understanding of privacy, data protection, and regulatory landscapes in Saudi Arabia.
