Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in Cargo Operations & Shipments Documentations.
  • Fluency in English (Written & Spoken).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access & Windows Applications.

  • Supervise customs inspections and transit shipments.

Job description

Position: Operations Superintendent

Department: Operations Dept.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Subordinates (If Available): n/a

Position Summary

Control/Follow-up the Daily Operations Activity

Key Responsibilities

  • Stripping containers and following up on customs inspection till stuffing,
  • Responsible for transit shipments,
  • Responsible for the availability of heavy & light equipment,
  • Daily communication with the customs group and the transit department,
  • Supervising employees for unfastening and attaching customs seals,
  • Receiving and solving the problems of the clearing broker agents,
  • Supervising the laborers, yard clerks and laborer foremen,
  • Following up on the work related to the company's projects at gates 14, 09, 35 & 40.
  • Solving warehouse problems regarding delivery of LCL containers,
  • Supervising the FCL containers & cargo damages issue,
  • Application of occupational health & safety standards,
  • Commitment to the established productivity-raising plans,

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accomplish the daily tasks without errors or incident,
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards,
