About the Role

As a Project Planner, you will oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure the successful delivery of our Baggage Handling System projects. Your responsibilities include creating quotations and project delivery plans in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams, monitoring project progress, identifying deviations, and developing alternative plans with the project team.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive project planning functions, including:
  2. Preparing quotations and detailed project master schedules.
  3. Creating manpower histograms and progress measurement systems.
  4. Establishing logical relationships between activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  5. Developing, maintaining, and monitoring critical path logic networks, float paths, and addressing potential risks and delays throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Providing high-level project plans (level 2 or 3) to technical departments as needed.
  7. Preparing and presenting detailed project status reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates, and dashboards.
  8. Presenting progress status at meetings.
  9. Monitoring actual data against planned units, tracking KPIs such as CPI, SPI, and other EVM metrics, and presenting findings visually.
  10. Maintaining and updating a project delay register, conducting delay analysis, and preparing reports and evidence for potential claims.
  11. Contributing to invoicing and cost forecasting based on the latest planning updates.
  12. Updating the Project Quotation Schedule, Initial Master Schedule, and Project Master Schedule weekly.
  13. Providing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and dashboard updates.
  14. Tracking actual data against planned units and EVM data visually.
  15. Providing data for invoicing and cost forecasting based on the latest plans.
  16. Consulting on activities such as planning resources, planning tollgates, and managing changes in delivery methods by technical, procurement, or installation departments.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in planning functions, with a minimum of 7 years handling large projects. Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in Automated Material Handling or Baggage Handling System projects. Training will be provided if no related experience.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of project management, scheduling functions, claims, and planning reports.
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge to team members.
