Acting as an internal expert and advocate, this individual goes beyond traditional account management to gather, synthesize, and disseminate deep "insider" intelligence about key customers' businesses. The goal is to inform our company's product development, marketing messages, sales strategies, and overall customer engagement approach, ensuring we align tightly with our customers' core business objectives and ultimately drive mutual strategic value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deep Customer Business Discovery:
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders (including executives, strategists, operational leaders) within designated strategic customer accounts.
- Conduct in-depth research and ongoing dialogue to understand the customer's:
- Overall business strategy, goals, and KPIs.
- Industry trends, competitive landscape, and market positioning.
- Organizational structure, key initiatives, and internal politics.
- Operational challenges, technology stacks, and future investment plans.
- Financial health and key business drivers.
- Analyze customer earnings calls, press releases, industry reports, and other public information.
- Intelligence Synthesis & Internal Dissemination:
- Translate complex customer business information into clear, concise, and actionable insights for internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Leadership).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive "Customer Business Profiles" for assigned strategic accounts.
- Act as the primary internal "go-to" expert for understanding the business context of these key customers.
- Present findings and insights regularly to relevant internal stakeholders and leadership forums.
- Strategic Input & Alignment:
- Provide critical input into strategic account planning based on deep customer business knowledge.
- Inform product roadmap discussions by articulating the underlying business needs andpotential future requirements of strategic customers.
- Help Marketing tailor messaging and campaigns to resonate more effectively with the specific business challenges and goals of key customer segments.
- Advise Sales teams on positioning solutions in the context of the customer's broader business strategy.
- Opportunity Identification:
- Identify potential expansion, upsell, or cross-sell opportunities based on a holistic understanding of the customer's business trajectory and unmet needs (even those not directly related to current product usage).
- Recognize potential risks or shifts in customer strategy that could impact the relationship or future business.
- Feedback Loop Facilitation:
- Serve as a strategic feedback channel, capturing high-level business sentiment and strategic needs from key customers.
- Ensure this strategic feedback informs relevant internal decision-making processes.
