Kitchen Coordinator

Your Day to Day:

  • Organize daily incoming correspondence, make preliminary assessments, and respond as appropriate.
  • Compose and prepare routine correspondence and assist with simple interpretation of documents when required.
  • Prepare, assemble, and distribute various reports and documents for the Culinary Department.
  • Receive and screen incoming telephone calls, provide and gather information, and redirect matters to the appropriate person.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems, business contact databases, and trace pending items for follow-up.
  • Arrange meetings and take minutes as needed.
  • Act as an administrative link to ensure all parties receive relevant information.
  • Organize and maintain necessary documents required by the Executive Chef.
  • Monitor and manage culinary staff attendance records.
  • Maintain and update the Culinary Notice Board.
  • Order and manage office stationery supplies for the kitchen.
  • Supervise and coordinate administrative activities of the culinary support staff.
  • Assist in administering salaries and determining leave entitlements.
  • Support staff training, development, assessments, and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or coordinator role within a hotel or F&B environment.
