Role & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Risk Management and Credit Risk Management (risk governance, risk appetite, policies, underwriting, monitoring, collections, reporting, etc.)
  • Basel Regulations
  • Capital Management and Stress Testing
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Risk Management and Credit Risk Management concepts
  • Solid understanding of relevant SAMA, CBUAE and Basel regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Experience in policy and procedure writing is desirable (e.g., work instructions, manuals)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. FRM / CFA or other risk and modelling related certifications are a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience for consultant roles and 3+ years for Senior Associate roles in IRB and IFRS 9 model development, with a proven track record of success and experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage a team, deliver engagements, and engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of risk modeling professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Ability to apply data insights to drive innovation and support robust decision-making.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, R, SAS (macros), SQL, and Advanced Excel.
