Job description

Provide supervision and guidance for credit analysts, review home and land finance files, and make funding eligibility decisions.

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct final reviews on home finance files in accordance with SHL’s established credit policy, criteria, and procedures.
  2. Analyze financial statements for self-employed applicants and business owners.
  3. Analyze property valuations.
  4. Ensure compliance standards are met.
  5. Detect fraudulent documentation or actions and report issues to the Head of Credit.
  6. Identify and present credit exceptions; prepare monthly exceptions report.
  7. Ensure targeted credit pipeline levels are not exceeded.
  8. Monitor credit pipeline & ensure turnaround times are maintained.
  9. Train credit analysts and discuss credit decisions with SHL, DAAR & ANB personnel.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to achieve SHL’s goals.
  11. Suggest and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
  12. Conduct assurance findings as requested.
  13. Review sales proposed campaigns for compliance with credit guidelines.
  14. Assist sales in achieving targets.
  15. Train sales staff on proper documentation.
  16. Conduct portfolio analysis and report policy defects or weaknesses.
  17. Design new MIS and quality monitoring reports.
  18. Report system enhancements or gaps.
  19. Conduct process gap analysis.
  20. Design and update the credit capacity plan and monitor capacity monthly.
  21. Perform duties as directed by the manager.

Job Skills:

At least 3+ years in credit management within banking or financial services, including 2+ years in credit analysis. Specialization in home financing is preferred. Proven skills in financial statement analysis. Previous experience in the KSA market. University degree in Business or Finance.

Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, iFlex/DBLS preferred.

Languages:

Fluent in English and Arabic.
