Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Creative Graphic Designer, preferably with experience in creative agencies or the governmental and developmental sectors. This role requires a combination of strategic visual thinking and hands-on design execution across branding, campaigns, and content.

Proficiency in AI-powered design tools is essential to develop impactful, contextually meaningful, and elegant brand identity systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic design concepts to support institutional initiatives, national programs, and communication campaigns.
  • Design and implement comprehensive visual identities, including full brand systems, style guides, and brand applications.
  • Produce a variety of visual assets, such as print reports, digital content, presentations, infographics, campaign visuals, and social media materials.
  • Integrate AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Firefly, Runway) to enhance design ideation, prototyping, and visual development.
  • Collaborate closely with communication, strategy, and tech teams to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Build and manage design templates, presentation frameworks, and content libraries for internal use.
  • Stay updated on creative trends, design innovations, and best practices in both government and private-sector storytelling.
  • Present design ideas clearly and manage creative projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of professional design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating:

  • Strategic branding and visual identity work.
  • Experience designing for government or mission-driven organizations.
  • Ability to craft cohesive design systems and guidelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Working knowledge of AI design tools for image generation, prototyping, and layout enhancement.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to link design to institutional goals.
