Role purpose
To lead the creation of innovative, high-quality design materials for digital, print, and social media platforms. The role requires strong conceptual thinking, hands-on design execution, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into impactful visual content that aligns with the brand’s identity and tone.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Design and produce assets for web, social media, email, and print.
- Create brand-consistent graphics, templates, and visual standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver effective design solutions.
- Oversee the visual content calendar and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers, if applicable.
- Ensure all designs reflect the latest trends and adhere to best practices.
- Adapt creative content across various platforms and formats while maintaining quality and cohesion.
- Provide motion graphics and video editing support when needed.
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries.
- Develop innovative, on-brand creative concepts for marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, product launches, and key brand moments.
- Produce high-quality designs for a variety of digital and offline channels, including but not limited to social media, web banners, in-app graphics, posters, flyers, merchandise, signage, and internal communications.
- Adapt visual materials for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display Ads, etc.), ensuring optimal performance in terms of format, aspect ratio, and aesthetic.
- Ensure all visual assets align with the brand’s guidelines, voice, and tone across all consumer touchpoints.
- Support or lead motion graphic production, short-form video editing, and animated content creation were needed for campaigns or announcements.
- Work closely with marketing, social media, product, and operations teams to interpret briefs, contribute creative input, and deliver on-brand visuals that meet campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed with attention to detail, and consistently meeting deadlines and revision cycles.
- Review final designs and proofs carefully to ensure accuracy, visual appeal, and functionality before releasing content for use.
- Provide design guidance and feedback to junior team members or freelancers when involved. Contribute to building a collaborative and creative culture within the team.
- Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and evolving design technologies. Proactively recommend new tools, formats, or creative approaches to keep the brand visually competitive and engaging.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE
Experience & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar creative or graphic design role.
- Portfolio showcasing branding, campaigns, and social media visuals is mandatory.
Knowledge & skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Strong visual, conceptual, and typographic skills.
- Excellent understanding of color theory and layout principles.
- Experience designing across digital and print mediums.
- Ability to translate marketing goals into compelling visuals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and feedback-handling skills.
- Adaptability, creativity, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of branding, campaign development, and industry-specific visual identity (fitness industry experience is a plus).
