Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Charles River Derivatives (CRD) Application Support Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for the CRD application. This role involves troubleshooting, system monitoring, issue resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide daily operational support for the Charles River Derivatives (CRD) application, ensuring system stability and performance.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to derivatives workflows within CRD.
3. Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues.
4. Work closely with end-users, including portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, and IT teams, to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
5. Perform application configuration, user access management, and support system upgrades or patches.
6. Assist in testing and deployment of new application releases and enhancements.
7. Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing.
8. Train users on application features, workflows, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably within the financial services industry.
3. Hands-on experience with the CRD platform.
4. Strong understanding of trade order management, portfolio management, compliance, and derivatives trading workflows.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
