Job description

Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Jizan. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites or in industrial yards. You will need to have experience operating different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes, and possess a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate crane to lift and move materials according to work orders or instructions from supervisors
- Inspect crane equipment before use and report any issues or malfunctions
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure accurate placement of materials
- Monitor gauges and controls while operating crane to adjust speed, direction, and hoisting mechanisms as needed
- Keep detailed records of materials moved, hours worked, and any incidents that occur during operation
- Perform routine maintenance on crane equipment as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; technical certificate in crane operations preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid Crane Operator license/certification required
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work orders/instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills (English not required)
