Job description

• Supervision and Coordination:
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and vendors.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Oversee and/or assist with diagnostics of faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and provide technical advice.
• Procure necessary materials and spare parts.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure cranes are used safely and that all safety procedures are followed.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Communicate with management regarding maintenance issues and concerns.
• Develop and implement new maintenance methods, systems, and procedures.
• Prepare and review lifting plans and risk assessments.
• May be responsible for equipment improvement projects.

Skills

• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering.
• Should have minimum 8-12 years of experience in maintenance and supervision of cranes, mobile cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes and heavy lifting equipment.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Thorough understanding of crane maintenance procedures.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
