Position Title: Country Sales Manager – Retail Channel

Channel Focus: Tools & Machinery Retail (Independent Stores & Chains)

Territory: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Reporting To: Commercial Director / General Manager

Role Summary

The Country Retail Sales Manager will lead and scale Mimar Tools’ retail operations across Saudi Arabia. This role is accountable for revenue growth, retail distribution expansion, strategic key account management (including SACO, Extra, and retail shops), and building a high-performance sales team. The ideal candidate will combine market knowledge with strong leadership, execution excellence, and the ability to translate strategy into retail impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the retail sales strategy across KSA aligned with Mimar Tools’ commercial objectives.
  2. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of the nationwide retail sales team.
  3. Build and manage relationships with key retail chains (e.g., SACO, Extra, retail shops) and large independent retailers.
  4. Set monthly and quarterly sell-in and sell-out targets by region and channel.
  5. Monitor pricing, competitor activity, market trends, and provide actionable intelligence to marketing and product teams.
  6. Drive planogram execution, in-store visibility, and trade marketing alignment.
  7. Coordinate with supply chain and distribution partners to ensure optimal availability and delivery.
  8. Conduct periodic market visits and joint field rides to assess execution and coach the sales team.
  9. Present regular performance reviews, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior management.
  10. Lead business development initiatives including new retail channels or category expansions.
Candidate Profile
  1. Minimum 7 years of sales experience in KSA with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  2. Strong background in retail sales; experience with tools, machinery, hardware, or adjacent FMCG sectors is essential.
  3. Proven track record managing national sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
  4. Deep understanding of the Saudi retail landscape including key accounts, regional variances, and store formats.
  5. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build P&Ls, negotiate complex deals, and lead retail activations.
  6. Fluency in Arabic and English; exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  7. Willing to travel extensively across the Kingdom.
