Job description

I am delighted to be supporting a leading multinational on their search for a Country HR Manager for their Saudi Arabia and Bahrain business entities which employ circa 1500 employees.

This role will be based in Al Khobar and will report to their Global Head of HR based in the US. The business is in growth mode and as such we are looking to recruit a Country HR Manager that is pro-active and forward thinking. You will manage a small team and sit on the senior leadership team acting as trusted advisor on the human capital agenda.

The Role:

Some of the essential duties of the role include the following:

  • Development of the MENA HR strategy, budgets and people plans for the Geozone– sharing expertise and learning and ensuring an integrated approach to delivering high impact HR advice and quality service delivery across the Geozone.
  • Responsible for leading a team of HR professionals and actively engaging them to support their development (performance, talent identification, succession planning, development).

The Criteria:

Preferred candidates will hold a minimum of 10 years progressive general HR experience, including a career track record across multiple HR business partnership roles.

Experience or demonstrated capability leading other professionals and a bachelor’s degree in human or a related field.

Candidates must have prior experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.

In depth knowledge of MENA HR practices, processes and laws/regulations. The successful candidate will hold strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills that can impact at all levels and able to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
