The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project involves major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is seeking high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project as part of our delivery partnership.

You'll be responsible for:

  1. Providing cost management services from contract signature and award to project completion across various sectors.
  2. Supervising the daily activities of a team of professionals.
  3. Preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses, and assisting in formal execution by the appropriate parties.
  4. Advising on the administration of the terms of construction works or services contracts.
  5. Measuring and valuing the work carried out, and adjusting variations in accordance with the contract terms, in agreement with the contractor.
  6. Ensuring adequate cost control and reporting services during the contract.
  7. Preparing financial reports for the client as required.
  8. Identifying all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
  9. Participating in the evaluation of claims for delays and additional costs made by contractors and nominated subcontractors/suppliers.
  10. Advising on the issuance of certificates of practical completion and ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
  11. Providing guidance on certificates of making good defects and final completion, in accordance with project requirements.
  12. Delivering system and process improvements, driving transformational change.
  13. Managing a team of professionals, driving performance, and supporting technical development and coaching.
  14. Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in working processes.
  15. Developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  16. Managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
  17. Collaborating towards the goal of net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.

You'll need to have:

  1. Necessary visa criteria for Saudi Arabia and relevant high-value project management consultancy experience for immigration and client approval.
  2. Proven experience in commercial management.
  3. Experience in risk management and change control management.
  4. Experience with various contract types.
  5. Knowledge of contract administration and management.
