We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager to lead cost estimation and bidding
processes for construction and maintenance projects, including Long-Form, GSC, and EPC
contracts with Saudi Aramco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the KSA
construction industry, with expertise in Long-Form, GSC, and EPC contracts, prequalification
processes, and ensuring compliance with Aramco standards such as IKTVA. This role is critical to
securing new contracts and supporting revenue goals.
Key
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction and maintenance
projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Lead the development of competitive bids for Saudi Aramco contracts, with a focus on
Long-Form (Maintenance ), and EPC contracts, ensuring alignment with local regulations
and General Instructions (GIs).
Manage the prequalification process for the company with Saudi Aramco affiliates to
enable participation in new project opportunities.
Collaborate with project teams to review project plans, specifications, and schedules to
provide accurate cost forecasts.
Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to optimize cost efficiency and support
strategic bidding decisions.
Manage a team of estimators to meet tight deadlines for proposal submissions.
Ensure compliance with IKTVA by incorporating local sourcing and labor in cost estimates.
Present cost analysis and bid strategies to senior management for approval.
Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for future reference.
Qualifications &
Soft Competencies:
Bachelors degree in engineering field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical; preferred).
More than 15 years of experience in cost estimation within the KSA construction sector,
with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in managing Long-Form, GSC, and EPC contracts with Saudi Aramco or
similar clients.
Demonstrated expertise in prequalification processes for Saudi Aramco affiliates.
Proven track record of successful bid preparation for Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale
clients.
In-depth knowledge of Aramcos procurement processes, GIs, and IKTVA requirements.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in Arabic and English.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects under pressure.
Advanced cost estimation and budgeting.
Project management and risk assessment.
Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific tools.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Adaptability to meet aggressive project timelines.
