Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of initial Order of Cost Estimate to establish project budget.
2. Development of the initial cost estimate at the concept stage to produce a Concept Design estimate.
3. Prepare Preliminary Cost estimate in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
4. Prepare tender bill of quantities and associated pricing documents for inclusion in tender documentation.
5. Prepare Pre-Tender Estimate of the works.
6. Carry out tender evaluation and prepare tender reports.
7. Review of Bonds and Insurances as submitted by the Contractor.
8. Check contractor's application and prepare interim payment certificates.
9. Check and agree with a recommendation for payment, the contractor's final account.
10. Evaluate proposed variations to the contract concerning financial impact.
11. Attend meetings as required.
12. Prepare regular cost reports.
13. Liaise between contractor and other consultants to ensure timely delivery of services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• 3 years experience working on civil engineering/building projects, with at least 1 year in the Middle East.
• Familiarity with FIDIC forms of contracts.
• Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Proactive team player, able to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
