Responsibilities:

  • Prepare initial Order of Cost Estimate to establish project budget.
  • Develop cost estimates at the concept stage for Concept Design estimates.
  • Prepare Preliminary Cost estimates following prescribed standards and procedures.
  • Create tender bills of quantities and pricing documents for tender documentation.
  • Prepare Pre-Tender Estimates of the works.
  • Conduct tender evaluations and prepare reports.
  • Review bonds and insurances submitted by contractors.
  • Check contractor applications and prepare interim payment certificates.
  • Evaluate proposed variations concerning financial impact.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Prepare regular cost reports.
  • Coordinate between contractors and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering/building projects, with 1 year in the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
