We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs related to the manufacturing of portable cabins. This role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Monitoring & Analysis:
Track and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
Compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
Provide cost estimates for new projects and product lines.
Inventory & Procurement Control:
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock to minimize waste.
Evaluate supplier pricing and negotiate cost-effective procurement deals.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare detailed cost reports for management, highlighting key trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in production processes and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to implement cost-control measures.
Audit & Compliance:
Conduct internal audits to verify cost accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of cost control experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
Soft Skills:
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Language: Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
