We are currently seeking a Cost Control Engineering Head, reporting directly to the Projects Control Manager to join the team based in Ahmadi, Kuwait.
About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:
Control the reimbursable hours expended on a weekly basis and produce any related reports as may be necessary.
Control the reimbursable hours expended on a monthly basis and produce all required time sheets and related tasks performed sheets in the format required by the client.
Handle/Prepare all required pre-authorization forms for overtime hours and keep a file of the approvals for the monthly submission of time sheets for overtime time.
Handle/Prepare all required ODC's requests in the format required by the client and file keep the approvals for the submission of monthly invoicing by the finance department.
Establish and maintain all necessary logs for reporting and monitoring the status of OT and ODC's requests.
Complete and update the required weekly and monthly cost reports in the format required by the client.
Interface with the client’s cost control organization to ensure smooth approval of milestone certificates and invoices.
Develop/complete manning charts required for the man-hours & cost estimates.
Develop and maintain all required forecasts and reporting on PMC hours, cost, and revenues, and produce all necessary PMC cash flows and loss/profit reports.
Review/verify EPC contractors and Technip direct services subcontractors invoicing to ensure compliance with requirements of cost/payment related clauses in the contract.
Verify that cost claimed by EPC contractor invoicing is as per approved backup documentation.
Develop/complete detailed cost estimates for services and materials for the projects assigned by the line manager in accordance with the client’s requirements and rules.
Interface with cost control and finance reference person of Technip Group for all necessary group reports.
Supervise the work of cost engineer/s when/as may be necessary.
Complete any other tasks assigned by the line manager as may be necessary.

Minimum years of experience:
16 years minimum in total years of experience.
8 years minimum in the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochem industry.
8 years minimum in the related designation/discipline.
