Job description

Fircroft is seeking a skilled Cost Control & Contract Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing contract-related activities and ensuring compliance with financial terms.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide interpretation of contract terms for services and goods.
  2. Liaise with the Legal department to ensure clauses are acceptable.
  3. Consult on contract language, business models, and oversee contract execution and monitoring.
  4. Reconcile invoicing with the terms and conditions of agreements.
  5. Ensure vendor invoices are raised according to agreement terms, including time recovery.
  6. Provide financial insights to the negotiation team regarding pricing of goods and services.
  7. Offer technical guidance and direction in the area of specialization.
  8. Apply best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to enhance products or services.
  9. Ensure the baseline for new contracts and amendments are fully reviewed and validated from a finance perspective, engaging with other finance areas as necessary (BSP, Treasury, Compliance, Tax).
  10. Highlight risk areas or concerns during negotiation phases.
  11. Monitor and oversee contract terms during the execution phase.
  12. Conduct CRCCD checks on contract finance terms before contracts are signed by all parties.

Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or a related academic discipline.

Years of Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
