The Estimation and Tendering Director will lead the company’s bidding and cost estimation
strategies, ensuring competitive and profitable project proposals. This role is critical in securing
large-scale infrastructure contracts by overseeing accurate pricing, risk analysis, and tender
submissions
Key Responsibilities:
Tendering & Proposal Strategy:
• Develop tendering strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of high-quality bid proposals, ensuring compliance with
technical and contractual requirements.
• Lead pre-tender and post-tender negotiations with clients and partners.
Cost Estimation & Financial Analysis:
• Conduct detailed cost estimations, considering labor, materials, equipment, and
subcontractor costs.
• Develop pricing models that balance competitiveness with profitability.
• Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies for tender submissions.
Process Improvement & Technology Integration:
• Implement industry-leading estimation tools and cost management software.
• Standardize tendering processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation to enhance cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management:
• Build relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project management teams to align tendering strategies with execution
capabilities.
• Negotiate contractual terms to ensure favorable conditions for the company.
