The successful candidate will have a BSc in Finance and 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG food sector, responsible for cost analysis and maintaining accounting records. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Cost Accountant.
• FMCG background in the food sector is a must.
• Additional certification like CPA or CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Description

• Monitor actual product costs based on the established standard cost.

• Prepare analyses of deviations, waste, and overlaps and submit them to the line manager.

• Review all receipts for raw materials to the factory, as well as receipts for products from the factory to branches, daily.

• Calculate the cost of received and returned products for all branches daily.

• Perform daily accounting entries in the system.

• Contribute to determining the cost of standard products and attend committees for standard recipes for new or developed products.

• Participate in the monthly inventory process for production departments.

• Record, process, modify, and archive all accounting data related to cost control.

• Maintain all paper documents and records related to cost control.

• Assist in the monthly closing process and submit related reports on time.

• Prepare required reports covering all areas of cost control and submit them to the line manager on time.

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Finance or relevant degree
• Work experience as an Cost Accountant with 3-5 years
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures,
• FMCG background is a must , Food sector
• The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Dynamics, Quick books , Odoo
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
