Job summary

Munshi HR Solutions Ltd in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cost Analyst to lead costing activities, prepare cost sheets, and monitor variances across material, labor, and overhead. The role collaborates with Production, Procurement, Store and Finance to ensure accurate cost data and robust inventory valuation.

The candidate will support budgeting and forecasting, conduct cost analysis for pricing decisions, and help implement internal controls and audit requirements related to costing and inventory

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant costing experience.
• Accounting degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in costing, budgeting, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product/service cost sheets and update costing data regularly.
• Calculate material, labor, overhead, and total production costs accurately.
• Monitor actual costs against standard/budgeted costs and identify variances.
• Analyze cost variances and provide explanations and recommendations to management.
• Maintain proper records of inventory, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Support inventory valuation and conduct regular reconciliation between physical and accounting records.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and management reports highlighting cost trends and key findings.
• Assist in product pricing and profitability analysis based on cost and margin information.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Store, and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost data.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit requirements related to costing and inventory.
